Six Flags over Georgia - opening day

Today we took the kids to Six Flags for a family fun day.  The kids were so excited and could not wait to go!  We have only been once with the kids before, but Austin was a baby.  This year we got season tickets so we will be going a lot this summer.

I call this Austin's Ronnie Shirley (from Lizard Lick Towing) look

Kelly was able to go on many more rides this time.  Her first ride she went on was The Mind Train, her first roller coaster.

She loved it!  She wanted to go on a big ride...The Scream Machine!  She met the height requirements so we let her go.  I rode it with her and was unsure about how she would do on it.  She did well the first drop, but did not like it after that.  She was a trooper and I was so proud of how brave she was.  When she got off she said she did not want to do it again and only wanted to do ones like the first one!

After this ride we learned that Austin loves to run in circles, but not rides that go in circles :(

They loved "driving" the trucks.

We mostly rode the rides, but we did play one game and they won super hero capes.  When Austin has his on we have to call him Batman.  He runs around saying "I'm Batman!"

Daddy and Kelly went to ride the go carts and since Austin was not tall enough we spent time playing on the play ground.  I think my little boy needs a slide of his own ;)

This was one of those proud Mommy moments, love it!

I think the highlight of Austin's day was riding on the train.  He is still in love with trains and was so excited when he heard the train whistle.

We have been in love with this beautiful weather and this was a great way to welcome spring!  I can tell we are going to have tons of fun this summer and make lots of memories.
