Weekend Fun

This past weekend started with a visit from Grandma and Grandpa.  Grandpa got the kids rocket launchers so we went outside to try them out.  

We always have such a great time with Grandma and Grandpa!  After playing hard we went out for some lunch. The kids were excited to finally take Grandpa to their favorite BBQ place.

On Sunday Kelly asked if we could go to Six Flags so we all got ready for some more fun in the sun.

It was a great day for it.  The park was not that packed so we didn't have to wait too long in the lines.

Kelly loves all the water rides and Austin loves the train ride around the park.  

Austin rode his first roller coaster this visit, Wile E. Coyote Canyon Blaster.  He made it very clear that he will not be riding that again any time soon, but I was proud of him for trying it!

It was a great weekend!

Daddy's Day 2013

This Father's Day we didn't do too much.  We took Jacob to Waffle House for breakfast and then we came back to the house to relax a little and watch some fishing.  Then it was time for the boys to get their hair cut.  When we got back home Jacob spent the rest of the day washing cars and doing yard work :(

He is a hard working Daddy and we are so grateful for everything he does for us!

I started this last year with Kelly and Austin joined in on the fun this year.  I love hearing their answers!

Mater Bedroom Redo

Last year we started to redo some of the rooms in our home.  We started with the living room and dining room, and this year we are doing our master bedroom and bathroom.  We have not started on our bathroom yet, but I love how our bedroom turned out!
