Busting out of Pre-K

Hard to believe that Kelly has just finished her first year of school.  She has learned so much, made lots of friends and had lots of fun!

Kelly's class celebrated the last day of school with a pizza and ice cream sundae party

Kelly's Pre-K field day

Yesterday Kelly's school had field day.  They had 3 different water slides and a slip n slide set up for the kids.  It was the perfect day for it!

Some kids, including Kelly, were intimidated by the first water slide, but once we got to the slip n slide they all got really into it!

The kids took a much needed snow cone break and then they were ready to have some more fun

The kids had a blast! I have to say, I was so proud of my little man.  He just sat in his chair and splashed in the water.  I had several parents come up and comment about how good he was!

Friday is her school party and last day of school, can't believe her first year of school is already over!  So proud of her!

Kelly's 5th birthday party

For Kelly's 5th birthday she wanted a Lalaloopsy party.  She saw the show for the first time over spring break and has loved them ever since!

I love how every thing turned out.  She Lala-loved it! As Jewel Sparkles says, it was perfectly perfect!

They did a great job on the cake!

 The birthday girl!

Since Kelly is not a pizza fan she decided to have KFC.  She loves mashed potatoes and mac n cheese!  After a yummy lunch it was time for cake...it was delicious as always.

Kelly and Kyleigh

Grandma and Grandpa got Kelly her favorite Lalaloopsy, Rosy Bumps and Bruises, she was so excited!

She got a great start on her Lalaloopsy collection

After her party it was time for some fun!  Kelly decided to do something different this year and we decided to go to Stars and Strikes.  She has never been before, but it was a big hit!  Even Grandma and Grandpa joined in on the fun.

So hard to believe my baby is 5!!! Happy Birthday baby girl!

Things she says:
“What!?!” any time she is surprised by something
“Love you bunches”
“What does this spell?”
“Amazing!”
“Awesome!”
“Oh, my gosh!”
“I just knew it! I thought it in my brain!”

Favorite Memories:
Kyleigh’s favorite memory- when Kelly spent all day with me until when we had to go. That day I called her a hug monster because she would hug me and love on me, and I got all the attention lol!

Grandma and Grandpa’s favorite memories-
calls Grandma “Princess Grandma”

When we watched the kids for the first time Mommy left us a list of TV channels they could watch.  Grandpa was watching something not on the list and Kelly came up with the piece of paper and said, “You just don’t get it! (Holding the paper up with the channels on it) These are the channels I am supposed to be watching!”

Always asks Grandma to come live with her

Daddy’s favorite memory- Austin was talking to Grandma on the phone about when she was coming over next, trying to get her to come and see her sooner, and said his first curse word, bull sh*t.  Grandma said she didn't understand what he had said so Kelly came over to the phone and said, “He said bull sh*t Grandma!” It was so hard not to laugh!

Mommy’s favorite memories- I love nap time with her.  Since she is in school I only get to nap with her on the weekends and I love and cherish the one on one and cuddle time with her.

She was so confident and excited about her first day of school. I felt so much better about leaving her because she was so happy and proud of herself.  I was so proud, and a little sad, of what a big girl she was.  I have loved hearing about all her friends at school every day.

Watching her grow into the lovely young lady that she is becoming is such a pleasure and I am so proud of her.  I am beyond blessed to be the Mommy of such a great little girl!

We celebrated her birthday with her classmates at school today
and brought in cupcakes.  Daddy surprised her and came with us.

Happy Birthday baby girl! We love you bunches!
