Today was a very special day for Kelly. We went to go see Beauty and the Beast at the Fox. She was so excited to see the real Belle, she even had her outfit picked out the week before.
This was Kelly's second time at the Fox. The first time she went with Jacob to see Dora, she was about Austin's age (maybe a little younger) and still talks about it. She was very happy that Austin and I would be joining them this time since last time Austin was too little to go. Since we were going to be downtown we decided to go to the Varsity for lunch. It has been a while since I have been and it was Austin's first time.
After lunch it was show time. Kelly was so excited and even made up a song about Belle and how much she loved her on the way.
Kelly loved the big rose that was on the stage before the show started.
The kids did so well. The show was long and for the most part they sat and watched. Poor Kelly was so tired from running around at Daddy's work that she ended up taking a little nap and missed "Be our Guest", but her favorite part was Belle dancing with the Beast in her yellow dress. At the end I had to take Austin for a walk, but we got back in time to watch the Beast turn back into the prince.
Baby Belle had to come along too to see the show ;)
I'm sure this will be talked about for a long time. I can't even tell you how many times Jacob and I heard "Thank you Mommy and Daddy" today. Today a dream of a special little 4-year old came true. She even had to wear Belle pajamas to bed tonight. I just love seeing her smile!
