Well I have finally started our family blog and what a better post to start out with than our day out with Thomas the Train!
Austin in his very cute shirt I made for him "Thomas the Train's #1 Fan" |
Austin has been a big fan for a while now and this was something we
were going to go to last year, but I am so glad we waited until this year
to go. It was about a 3-3 1/2 hour drive down to
Cordele, Ga but so
worth the trip.
They had so many activities for the kids including
putt-putt, bouncy houses, story time, bubbles and more.
When we got in
line to see Thomas Austin was SO excited. He was jumping up and down and
yelling "Hi T-T!" (what he calls Thomas) over and over again. The look on his face was priceless!
Austin when he first saw Thomas |
both Kelly and Austin enjoyed looking out the big window as we went over the lake |
The train ride was about 25
minutes long and after that we got to have our picture made with Sir Topham Hatt himself and with Thomas.
Austin was very excited to go see Sir Topham Hatt and gives me hope that he will sit with Santa this year to have his picture taken, fingers crossed!
It was not long after we left that we had two sleeping children...
a sign of a very good day!
